Eyeing a pair of front disk brake calipers supposedly off a stock 68 setup. Single piston calipers. How can I ID them to be sure the are what the proport to be? Part numbers, decriptions, et al. I can make out FOMOCO in one corner, but they are pretty dirty.

The 68 to 73 Mustang disc brake calipers are the same, and can be had from most autoparts stores locally for $16-$20 each, Why bother? The unique thing about the small 68-73 calipers is that they are retained by two floating bolts that screw into caliper, and pass through spindle mounting bracket.
