I found this laying in a car in the junkyard. Would this be good ebay item, or does anyone here need it? I don't know what the owner would want for it, but if I knew what it was worth (if anything) I would know whether to get it.

65 underdash a/c. i believe 66 was black face. good seller on e-bay. no doubt someone here would love to have it. like me !! you should try and pick it up though. id say 50.00 at a junkyard would be a very good buy.

'65 underdash unit, grab it..Get that spoked plastic piece laying under it too,it goes in the fan inlet, they're hard to find and not reproduced...Those hoses look like mustang power steering hoses and support bracket, the bracket costs about $40 repro, grab it too...

Point of info. Check the drain location. Had a 65 Galaxie parts car that also had that unit. It would have been a dealer add on as the Galaxy had indash from fact. Was also used in Fairlane and Falcon The Mustang has a side drain on the pass side, and the others had a drain closer to the center. The Mustang must have the side drain-clearance issues. It can be modified to fit, though.

The one holding the two hoses together, they aren't attached to the A/C unit...
