I want to dump my D70E heads. I have a chance to pick up some E7TE heads for cheap. What should I watch out for on this swap?

Get gt40-p's they flow better right out of the box with no hassle

I'm not to sure the the newer heads offer much of a performance increase. They probably have larger chambers which will lower your compression. I little home porting would yeild nice results with the E7's, lots of info on the web about porting them.

The D80Es that I have have 69cc chambers, I know the E7s are in the 60cc range which would up my compression ratio.

royg, I have a brand new set of bare casting gt40-p heads for 170.00 all you have to do is buy valves and springs and assemble and your readt to go way better than the E7's let me know.........Al. P.S i have flow sheet numbers for comparison
