Bart aka Woodchuck mentions bending the bottom of the instrument cluster opening in order to clear the round speedo housing, you might to check something first. I did this swap many years ago and found that if I insert the bottom of the instrument cluster first and then push the top of the cluster towards the opening, it fits just fine without having to modify the opening.
