The other day I told SWMBO that I was going to the store. She asked me to got some more paper towels because we were out again!!!. ( I buy them at Sams in the bulk package and have gone thru 3 of them in the last several months.) I had no idea I was using that many. For grins I thought I would start a list of uses for paper towels when restoring or working on old ponies. Please add to the list.

1. Emergency band aid.
2. Flags to tie on door handles during failed test drives.
3. Wiping paint off kitchen floor attempting to put brake drums in oven.
4. Oh no fluid is gushing out, quick, stuff a paper towel in to stifle the flow.
5. Poke a hole in the middle and cover the carb.
6. Wiping up spilled beer.
7. Wiping sweat off brow before it drips on car.
8. Makeshift drink koozy.
9. Rattle preventer. (folded and gently nudged in approriate location)
10. Windshield defogger (when there's no heat from the defroster)
11. Put on seats to keep from frying your legs on the hot vinyl (those with verts know what I mean.)
12. Wiping grease off bathroom door handle (didn't have time to wash up first.)

http://members.telocity.com/~cpc101/emsm.gifI was looking for a restoration of fantasy. I do not want my car to be as it was in 1967. I want it to be as I imagined it in 1967. -John Baird
