Congrats I too was there at the All Ford show. I didn't place in the 69Mach-1 class due to the two 428 Cobra Jets. But i wont the 50/50 pot so the money will have to due.

My bro-in-law is looking to do the same thing. I would like to put it as my desktop when he comes over.

I do have a couple of the Grabber Orange car, I'll try to remember when I get home to post them up.

 

To get the pictures, go to an image hosting site like photobucket.com and create an account. You can then upload the photos to the web site, and then when you create a post here in the forum you will use the small icon when filling out the 'BODY' of your post, click on the icon that looks like the two hills with a sun (fourth from the left) and it will bring up a pop up box which you can then copy and paste the link from your picture on the photobucket website into the pop up box. Just preview and viola! Hope that wasn't too confusing.

 

Hey, yeah I was just walking in when they were handing out the cash... like $127 and some change wasn't it??? I remember your car too... it looked great, but with the cobra jets you had some tough compitition.

 

The car looks great! I really like it when folks retain the original look of the car like you have.

Question on one of your pics, why do some people bring all of their trophies to shows and stack them in front of the car? Never understood that one.

Car looks good....I'd keep an eye on that "shifty" looking dude hanging out by it....

 

You know, my wife asked me the same thing... she said it might be a disadvantage on judging she thought because someone who 'brags' might get less consideration of another trophy compared to those of us who have none! (well one now!) But I don't plan on displaying my trophies at future shows.

 

Thanks, the color isn't origional... the actual origional color of my car is smoke gray, but the color I went with is pepper gray metallic... it's the same color as Eleanore on 'Gone in 60 Seconds'. I wasn't going for an Eleanore clone, just really liked the color.
