A couple of weeks ago I posted about some electrical problems I was having. My tail lights would not turn off and my left blinker would not blink.
I replaced the light switch, thinking it was the cause of the tail lights staying on. It didn't fix the problem.
I spent a week pouring over the wiring diagrams, checking each connection, ad infinitum, and could not find anything wrong.
Turns out I had the fog light switch on (the fogs aren't hooked up yet) hence the taillights staying on.
And the blinker problem? Bad bulb. I was pretty sure it was a ground problem leaving an open circuit. Turns out one of the little nibs on the bulb chassis was missing and the bulb would not contact the proper terminal in the housing. Voila - open circuit.
Thanks to all who tried to help me out of my predicament. Now please pass the doofus!
