ok, im lookin into upgrading the daily driver in the corral... to a new gt convertible. i want the 99 or newer but i dont know if i can afford that right now unless i get a different job(im lookin for one) wonderin if anyone knows if there is a big difference in upgrading the 98 and older 4.6L over the newer ones? i see some price difference but not a lot in the mag. what one would be easier to do mods on and so on? i might just say screw it and drive the 92 until either it blows or until the '05 comes out and ill get that but who knows, just gathering info as of right now

I have driven both body styles and they found them very similar. Same engine, right? I have a 99 GT 'vert for sale, 10000 mile car for $17m .

If I were you I'd drive the '92 until the '05 comes out. Start saving the money you'd be sticking into payments and you'll have a nice down payment to make.

I used to own a 92, and believe me, I wish I own one now, my wife loved that car, I say, stick to the 92 until you're "really" ready to trade it. Frankly, I would keep the 92 as a driver and then get a classic if you want that..
