For some reason, the installation of the rear shocks is a problem. I am not a mechanic so looking for some help in what is missing.
I recently had the car completely apart for a full restoration and am now working to put the car back together. When attempting to install the shocks in, I can't get the shock to align with the plate, it appears to be an awkward angles going through the plate which prevent me from getting the rubber spacers on. It's on both sides so I must have done something incorrectly.
I have added some pictures to show the issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
