The pivot is in the middle unlike the big block fords. Search the internet for pics. It's a little bit if a puzzle but not too bad. I ran one on my 347 last year. But changed to a 4bbl after I had my engine rebuilt
Kind of in the same boat with you on the linkage. I have a 3bbl set up that is all rebuild and ready to go on. But it runs so good with the 4bbl set up I have on now. I need the linkage also and “fuel and spark” has fuel logs for them. I may sell what I have.
yes i still dont have enough pics of what it should look like. bought linkage from afs a of course was told it may not work. i dont think it will. got to much time and money in this now. must be guys out there that had the same setup that worked. just need to find them to find that setup.didnt reAlize this was going to be a bear.
I'm going to the Carlisle Ford Nationals in a few weeks. That's where I bought my tri-power linkage for my 390 setup.
I'll look around to see if anyone there has sb linkage & get info.
It really isn't that hard. Its 3 linkages and a bell crankj. There is two linkages one is shorter than the other but Im not sure if the short is in front or not I think it is. Ive run two 289 tri powers and 3 or 4 six packs and at least one or two pontiac tri powers. It s a puzzle but not too hard. Ill be going to Carlisle if you are going to be there bring your stuff and we wiil figure it out.
I got my linkages from branda along with my fuel log.
