As the title suggests, I'm looking at what it will take to upgrade from the Toploader 4-speed manual transmission in my '66 to a T5Z I sourced from a friend, locally. I have a T5 bell, block plate, fork and other related pieces, but I'm unsure of what other parts/mods I may need to perform the upgrade. One caveat is that I plan to use a hydraulic slave/master for actuation instead of the cable arrangement most factory T5 installations used. I have 2 kits from Modern Driveline to facilitate this:

- Can I use the stock clutch pedal linkage that's currently in service for the Toploader?
- Is it true that I can swap my existing flywheel, clutch and pressure plate over to the T5 setup? I understand I need to use the pilot bearing for the T5.
