There is a mystery car that I see occassionally near me that looks from the side and the rear to be an unrestored and reasonably poor condition 68 Shelby convertible kinda of a metallic light green color. Today a see a car coming the other direction, same color, but it looks like a Cougar or something and when it passes, I see that it has the T-bird lights in back.

Other than the Shelby's did the Merc's use the T-bird lights as well? Anything else? Trying to solve the mystery.

Thanks.

Weird, this thing looks like a Cougar coming at you -but a Shelby going past. Looks like it needs a lot of work, the convertible top is ripped but at least it runs. I dunno, this is getting close to the area where it's not frowned upon when cousins marry. I've seen it twice now-maybe just a mirage.
