TCP'S upgrade kit when you have uppers & lowers & struts & all you need is the coil over shocks & springs & the two mounting adapters & the price went from $1100.00 with tcp to $1789.00 with M+ There should be a investagation. Every product they have has taken the major jump. It's a fine product that tcp has with excellent workmanship, but if they make it with these prices, then its good night Irene. Thanks for looking. Prices did jump quite a bit. They used to be low, so now they seem high.

Speaking stricly for myself, had it been my decision, I would not have bumped the prices as far as M+ did in one shot. I would have done it over a couple of years.

Let us not jump off the bandwagon just yet WRT the VMF Group Purchase deal. We are still working on getting the pricing setup.

Thats a rediculous price increase. Mustangs Plus isnt getting any of my business ever.

That depends, to me more reasonable prices would be a discount from what the price was BEFORE Mustang Plus jacked them up, and I doubt thats gonna happen.

As I've stated in one previous post, my overall experience with Mustangs Plus is one of price gouging the consumer...and no matter how many shows they sponsor or race events they attend with the profits made off us I don't think price gouging in any way helps Mustang culture. I only patronize them when they have something that's hard to find (I bought a Stam-bar swaybar and some Canton components from them) and I paid dearly.

If you really gotta have this stuff, go to a race fab/prep shop or do it yourself. They deal with coilover stepup's all the time and can easily do the mounting fab and spring selection. Coil over ready shocks run from $100 to about $320 (double adjustable Koni's) and the springs run about $50 to $100. Personally, I have never understood the reason to do this swap (I adjust ride height with a cutoff wheel, it's a once in a lifetime adjustment).

Market prices are set by supply and demand. IF people are so ignorant as to pay M+ 30% over the other suppliers' prices, M+ will continue to gouge. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, DUH! They and TCP will have to lower prices or find another line of work.

Kent, the sad thing is that M+ has raised the wholesale prices to about what was retial from most fair vendors before TCP gave the sole contract for distribution to M+. I can't see how M+ is going to distribute the product at a jobber price anymore that is below the new wholesale prices. That means even if the VMF gets a deal through Matt at Pondrosa, the prices will be less then M+ but will have to be higher then they ever where retail before M+ took over. The main thing is that everone writing here should be writing to TCP with negative e-mail about their allowing the massive mark up on their product. If they hear it from the end user, maybe they will wise up.
