I don't think subframe connectors will fix your problem. Having said that I would install them running your speeds and also a roll cage.
Vibration like that tends to indicate that something is out of balance, alignment or some of the suspension parts are worn somewhere. Something is not as tight and true as it is supposed to be.
The only problem I've had running over 100 is a tendency for the car to want to lift off the ground which could affect your alignment. I lowered it and lowered the front 2 inches more than the back to give it some downforce. I also had a race alignment done on it. We lifted the front of the car about 2 inches(lifting on the bumper) and then aligned it and also put 6 degrees of castor in. After that it was as solid at 100 as it was at 50.
Just for some background info I have mid-eye leafs, Shelby coils, Shelby steering kit, subframe connectors, montecarlo and export brace(manditory), completely welded shock towers, neoprene bushings, drilled and bolted motor mounts, boxed rear spring perches, Shelby control arm relocation. For the street I run a 1 inch front and 3/4 back sway bar. I'm changing back to Tractionmaster under riders soon. I've run Southside lift bars and plain old Lakewoods in the past.
i have shelby front relocation with negative caster,225/60/15 wheel all balance, new front lower arm, alignment done already, roller idlerarm from opentracker, front 1.5" lowered.
rear is 1.5" lowered, 5 midleaf spring with new bushing and shackle, koni on 4 corner.i try again this morning,110mph and seem to came from the third member, not shure.
you right when you say any play or worn part give vibration, but at this time i check evrything, and the fact is that this f.....g vibration appear in 1 seconde exactly at 105mph, no graduate, immediatly ggggrrrr.
i can sleep well with this problem, but here we are 6 friend each one have mustang 65 or 67, and it's a kind of competition between us to go faster than the other one, like childs...........
anyway, i will fix this tcp subframe, and next year maybe put a new currie combo 9", rear disc brakes.thank's for responses.
