I've had my 67 for 27 years, I'm kind of thinking about switching it up a bit. I'm looking at Holleys HI-Ram tunnel ram and dual matched Slayer series 450cfm carbs. Holley is having their Holley days event and I could get just about everything I need for $2k. I don't race this car or do anything competitive with it, just drive it for fun and occasionally put it in a local charity car show. I know the overall cfm is more than the motor needs, but would it make the car more difficult or annoying to drive? I've had as big as a 750dp on the car before without issues, currently rocking a 650dp. The car drives fine as is so I don't want to mess that up at the cost of a mid-life crisis, lol. I figure my scoop already sticks through the hood, so a couple of carbs on top of a tunnel ram would be even sweeter.
