TMI Pro Series seats installed

I’ve had my eye on TMI Pro series pony seats for a while now. I was lucky enough to place an order on Wednesday right before Black Friday to take advantage of CJ pony parts sale. To my surprise the seats arrived on Saturday. Along with the seats, I ordered TMI’s mounting brackets. Unfortunately the TMI mounting brackets did not work because the mounting holes did not match up to the studs. Needless to say they will be returned. The good thing is that I was still able to complete the install because I had seat extenders. This is just enough room so that the sliders don’t snag on the carpet. anyhow I was able to get them installed yesterday and I think they turned out great.

There are a couple of little things the kind of bothered me. The first thing is the plastic handle that goes onto the reclining mechanism is solid all the way through on one of them and it does not allow me to install it. The other issue is the silver bar on the seat is loose, hopefully it doesn’t fall off. i’ll reach out to TMI to figure this issue out. Other than that the seats are very comfortable compared to stock. I have attached a couple of photos.

i’m curious what do you guys think that I could get for the stock seats? The states are in pretty good shape there are no rips or tears and or otherwise complete. The stainless on the seats looks pretty good too.

Looks great! Although I’m happy with how I redid my stock seats (I was in the ‘keep the stock look’ mode at the time) in retrospect, I’d totally go with these if I had to do it again!

They could be in my car if it weren't for the branding. I hate branding! I called them a few years ago about the branding and they basically said buzz off!
