How can I identify which transmission I have? The previous owner didn't know much about the car, and I am barely past the point where I know what a transmission is.
I would ultimately like to determine if I should swap out the transmission for an AOD or if it would be better to replace the 4.10 which the car currently has. Fun to drive around city streets, but you'll get killed for going under 70 in the SF area. So, I would like to identify what I currently have so I'll know how much $$ I would throw away by pulling it out.
