Folks, I'm about to do a u-joint replacement this weekend but have no clue on how to go about doing one or what tools I need for the 65 coupe (C4 auto trans on a 302). Any write ups? thanks.
You'll need an arbor press or at least a good bench vise. Pretty straight forward.Folks, I'm about to do a u-joint replacement this weekend but have no clue on how to go about doing one or what tools I need for the 65 coupe (C4 auto trans on a 302). Any write ups? thanks.
My first one took a few hours because I cleaned everything up and painted it at the same time.Seems pretty straight forward. If you were to put a time on it, how long do you think the process will take? (gotta give the wife some peace of mind I won't be there for hours since she wants to go out, lol) Also, anyone have a part number for the u-joint that would work? looks like I have internal clips vs. the external ones.
