What does R.P.O. stand for (tire size)

Hi, I was looking at the tire size chart in my 65 shop manual and it reads as follows:

Hardtop

Std - 6.50 x 13

R.P.O. - 6.95 x 14

What does R.P.O stand for and what is the recommended wheel and tire size for a 1965 6cyl Mustang? Thank you.

I am guessing here but it looks to be a option (O)for a larger size tire. John

Hello.I'm not sure what R.P.O. stands for,but it's the optional(costs extra)better tires.On a 6cyl,I've always been happy with a 195/75-14 tire and wheel set-up.Just an opinion though.Hope that helps.
