This has most likely been done in the past, but I was thinking today about the point in my life that I knew Mustangs had to be a part of my life, and thought it would be fun to hear other's stories. Here is mine, lets hear yours!
It all started when my dad starting getting Mustangs as his company cars in 1967. I was three at that point but can remember playing in that '67 many times between the age of 3 and 5. He went on to get a '69 and a '71. But the event that sealed the deal for me and hooked me for life was in 1979. I was 15 and one of my sisters boy friends pulled in our driveway in a red 1968 GT fastback. It had a black interior and was powered by a non original 351 cleveland and a 4 speed transmission. It sounded real healthy. I about SH** when it pulled in. When I showed intrest in the car the guy was nice enough to offer to take me for a ride. I can still remember how the car looked, smelled and sounded as he rowed through the gears with that Hurst shifter. From that point on I was hooked and have owned at least one Mustang at all times since. I have owned more than 30 Mustangs over the years including 3 Shelbys and several 390's 428 cj's and my current toy in my signature. It all stems from that fatefull ride in that red '68 GT Fastack...the one that put me over the edge forever. Now lets hear your story!
