I bid on a 27" Sony TV on eday because I knew the guy was local I figured I've got the inside track since I can go get. Anyway, so I bid just above the reserve and let it sit. Sure enough, I get sniped at the end. Smelling a rat, I emailed the guy saying that if the winner didn't want to bear the freight for the TV, I'd pay the reserve and come get it. Didn't let on that I was the only other bidder.
This guy (a kid I think) emails back that he bid on his own item using a different account just to keep the other bidder (me) from getting such a good deal.
Unless he comes through I'm gonna turn him in-maybe just turn him in anyway-probably hot or something anyway.
What would you do?
