My '70 Mach 1 needed front roof pillar. They're not re-popped. I found a guy Back East who had a fastback that looked like it was in a Jerry Bruckheimer movie. But the roof pillars were fine. One of them is now nicely welded onto my Mach 1.

No problem. No guilt. That's how it works. And that's how it's worked since cars have been mass produced.
