1969 302 convertible, running well. I noticed while climbing hills in NC this weekend and running on the interstate, the temp was high. Like on the mark just before the H.
Once I got home to Atlanta, I parked the car and we unloaded from our trip. I then restarted the car (10 minutes passed) and checked the timing. The timing was past the 36* mark! It was idling normally and running fine. I thought I had set the timing at 12* last winter. So I turned the timing back to 12* and it got rough, so I brought it up to 16* when it smoothed out. Vacuum is at 18-19.
Would the overadvance possibly lead to the temp increase?
I haven’t taken it back out on the road. I’ll do that tomorrow.
