We put the drivetrain in my 67' coupe last night, so i am now able to get rolling on my clutch linkage. But there's a problem: the Z-bar "shaft" seems to be too short. When one end is placed onto the bracket on the frame side under the steering column, the other side with is supposed to attach to the engine block is roughly 2-1/2" to 3" away from the block. I believe the block is a 64' to early 65' 5-bolt. Am i missing something? Is there a z-bar that has a longer shaft length, because i can't seemt o find any info. Parts books state that the regular z-bar will not work on HIPO motors, so what's the difference there?
