I just did an appraisal on an original C code 1965 Mustang GT coupe.
Yes, I know, it is a stamping error but the fact remains the fender was stamped with C but the VIN, original data plate and original manual all show A for the engine.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is an original GT car. Very pretty black coupe with a 4 speed.

Reference was also made in an article about several Mustangs coming down the line with the same vin #. A 64.5 here had at least 6 stampings of the vin on the driver side apron.
