i was wondering what the value of a somewhat well restored 1966 Mustang hardtop I-6 is? it was salvaged, and looks like it was rear ended and is missing the rear bumper. any ideas on how much those go for too? with the exception of the missing bumper and new paint, it looks almost as if it were brand new!

You don't need power steering or power brakes on it. I don't have a problem with either of those, and mine is a 289. However, I do have the aircon. That 3 speed is a strong tranny, and will give you good service. If you want a vintage mustang, and you can get the bumper replaced,,,,for 3 grand you may have a good deal if you are willing to drive a 6 banger. They are good and reliable engines, you just aren't going to win any drag races without mods.

i also have a 289, and i dont think you really need power steering either, very light up front they are.
