Ok thank you guys for the info going to try and start putting it back together this spring when I get home if I get to go home wish I had the vin with me where I could look it up . I know my uncle bought it in Louisiana in 67 and I still got everything but the wheels and radio. All matching numbers. I always thought it was puke green till a couple days ago.
LOL! I've heard a lot of hate directed at that color over the years. Actually, 67-69 it was a top seller for Ford. Problem is, it was a single-stage metallic, using what we would now consider antiquated technology. By the time it was a few years old, humidity had penetrated the emulsion, and oxidized the aluminum metalflakes to a pasty white. If you saw it in modern BC/CC, your reaction would be "Holy Crap!". Ford even brought the color back a few years ago, calling it "Legend Lime". Go ahead, paint it lime, you'll be glad you did.

Posting photos of it is pretty much a waste of time, metallic paint just doesn't work on the internet. Ford tried, though:
