I have a 1968 convertible with 289 auto. It has factory air.
I got this car from my uncle who bought it new. He has passed on and left it to me. I always liked the car and I have a place to work on it and I have a good working knowledge of cars.
I don't know if I should keep it or sell it. It needs a full on restoration. The frame has a rust hole under the front fender. The rear quarter has a rust hole on the inside of the wheel well. Nothing showing on the outside. Motor runs well and the transmission seems to shift ok. the top has a small hole in it so it will need to be replaced as well. interior is solid with no holes or tears. Carpet is fine.
It has been stored in a gravel floor barn for a long time. My reality is that I don't want to take on a full blown restoration. Should I weld up the frame hole and just patch the issues or sell it to someone who would do it justice...
