I ave a 2968 vert, and see some very small windshield chip. I can pick at them with finger nail. Original windshield.

I have a friend that does windshield tepair. Do you advise I try to get them fixed now.
They are really small. I tried to take a pic

If they don't penetrate the outer glass layer there's not a heck of a lot you can do, other than maybe polish the windshield to remove the rough edge around the chip. They'll still cause "spots" when using the wipers. If you can't live with it then replace the glass. We got our tinted/shaded windshield locally a couple years ago for $115 and it fits well.

Ok Tnx. They are pretty small chips. Definitly can live with them now.
if go windshield rout at some point is there any supplier that is better than others. CJ, Kentucky all seem to have a windshield.
Tnx for the feedback!

True!
My original was getting hazy and had a light wiper scratch.
But if those are the only real defects in an original, I'd try to have the small chips repaired or lightly polished by a real professional.
