Well, its nice when a plan comes together. I need a few improvements, but took gold at my first MCA show! Drove 85 miles to get there. Ok gloating is over now ;')

It's a ton of fun to have a good first show. Now on to the detials, clean, clean and keep it clean. 
Way to go! It's a great feeling. I had the same experience this spring and I almost fell out of my folding chair when they called my name for the first place trophy in street driven class. In my case the field was pretty small but it was still the judged best of the field.
Congratulations! Hardwork and careful planning pays off. Isn't it a good feelijng that you won a top award because an experienced judge/s determined your car met predetermined, written standards rather than selected because it was the "prettiest car in your class?".
Enjoy the time and effort keeping it in "GOLD" condition.
