hi
On a 65 mustang we are just restoring I found following casting nr
D1ZE-6015-BA....0
Date: 1J8
Pulling the valve cover which has 6 bolts I saw 351 ,so I assume it has 351 heads
Checking on mustang Tec website , the block is supposed to be a
D1ZE-6015-BA
71 BOSS 302 Service- replacement
Bore 4.00"
4 bolt main
Anyone can tell me if this is a good combo heads and block , and since it might be a boss 302, is there any more value than any other small block
Assuming the compression is still ok, what would be the HP numbers I am looking at ?
I just drove the car up and down the trailer in and out of the paint shop etc..
Haven't driven it down the road , but it feels strong in first gear (c4 tranny)
Thanks
