Hey guys, I have a couple of Ford 8" 3rd members that I'm looking to sell:

The 1st one is a fairly common 3.0 ratio open diff and is in great condition. I'd let this one go for $150 obo.

The second seems to be more of a "unicorn" in the Ford community as its actually a limited slip unit--this one has a set of Richmond 4.11 gears in it that were professionally installed at the local Ford dealership back in 1988 or thereabouts. The Ford tech warned me that the Richmond gears might have a little whine to them as they were a performance oriented gear and he was correct as they do make a little noise but nothing objectionable and only at certain speeds (too long ago to remember exactly). When the gears were installed it got new bearings etc. Only about 2000 miles on the gears, limited slip still tight last time I used it. This was a great setup along with my slightly built 289. I'm asking $350 obo for this 3rd member.

I'd prefer to sell both of these locally as to avoid shipping so locals will get preference but I am willing to have them shipped on your dime--I'm just not sure how to package something like this to ship. If you have idea's or know of a good shipping company we can make it happen.

Great price on that 4.11 LSD. I may be interested in the open diff for parts. Do you need anything in trade?

I have a 1968 302 block bored 30 over, some Stainless Tri-Y Headers, a Hughs 2500rpm converter for a C4, maybe some other stuff.

Mostly just need stuff that would work well for the 363 build...1 3/4 longtubes, 850cfm or bigger Holley etc. I'll make you a great deal on any of this stuff if you want to come pick it up though.

Sale pending for the 4.11 l/s center section.

Price reduced on the 3.0 center section to $100 obo....probably not worth shipping this one as it will cost around $70.
