I used these holes on opposite corners.

Wait so just one bolt on each side of the head? Will a load leveler work with just one bolt on attached on each side?

I've managed to clear the engine bay at this point. The last thing I need to do is remove the driveshaft and then I should be able to remove the engine. I didn't realize it until today but I am missing one of the 4 transmission to bell housing bolts. Should I still attempt to pull the engine & trans together with it missing a bolt? or should I pull them separately? Also, what can I use to plug the trans tail after I remove the driveshaft?

As long as the other three are tight, you can pull it. But you will need one anyway, so you could buy it now if that will allow you to sleep better.
