Put it in park, and it may or may not have downshifted, so I may or may not be able to idle. Put it in neutral and everything is fine. Just started today on the way home from work. Ideas?

Sounds like the torque converter is staying locked up! This transmission probably needs some kind of lock-up controller for the TC. I'm sure somebody that is familiar with this conversion will pipe in with a more intelligent answer. ::

What are you using for a transmission controller? A Baumann TCS???
