Hi! I have a 1966 Metallic light blue Mustang coupe with a V8 289, duel flowmasters with chrome tips, cdplayer two 6 and a half in the trunk. I like the way the stereo sounds and the way the car sounds. That's what Ive done on the car so far. Anyways, I have been looking into wheels, and I can get kragers mounted and put on there for about 600 dollars.

Im trying to make my mustang not look so "classy" but sportier. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should invest this money on for the exterior, or go with the wheels? There is nothing wrong with the exterior everything looks great! I just want to change the style a bit, kind of like a GT. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

TOrque thrust D's look great on all mustangs. They are similar to the Crager SS style, but with the classic Mustang flair. That would be t choice over the C-ss.

Go with the wheels for $600.00 that would make the most change in the cars apperence for the $'s

I would go with a set of magnum 500's. They look classy and sporty. Never seen a mustang that didn't look great with them, espically metalic blue, and for $600 you can get center caps, lugs, and rims. Jim

Parting out over 120 mustangs. For e-mail address click on horsehead or call 540-249-3333. No answer leave message. Located in VA. Thanks, Jim

Go with the Torque Thrusts.

Stay with 14 or 15" wheels because some tires don't have raised white letters on 16" tires and, while it's pretty gaudy on another car, they look awesome on Stangs. I think it's BFG that doesn't offer white letters on 16".

Original plan: Finish within 1 year. Hahahahah!

$600 for wheels AND tires? Figure $400 on tires alone. Unless you can find a good used set. Cragars, Magnums, TTDs, styled steel, they all look good on a Mustang!!

I'm going to dump my 15x7 TTD wheels next summer for a set of 16x8 polished Vintage 45's. You can get some TTD wheels on e-bay and have a nice looking stang.

1965 Fast Back - 289, headers, edelbrock performer, carb and IAS, Torque thrust D, Lincoln Versailles 9" 3.50 rear, Granada Front. (Wrecked rear now)

The is always something else you need to buy.
