I have never tried to put the motor in my car fully assembeled including headers and 4 speed, will it go in in one chunk or do I have to leave off the headers? Thanks, Dan

Dan...I noticed when I just took my engine out of my 65 that the drivers side could not come out with the engine in...the passenger side was no problem.. I did not remove with them on and could not imagine trying to do so taking the engine out or putting it in.
I am with Lman on this one. I plan too (from my very resent notes) to set the header in place on the drivers side in the bay and carefully (VERY carefully )lower the engine to its mount.them bring up the header to install.
I plan to use custom mounts that are two way adjustable and probably will solve the problem in the first place. The passenger side (on mine) can be put in from the bottom after the Engine is installed.
Alrighty then, no headers on engine before dropping in..... I knew it would be tight, but I will just leave them off... The biggest pain is getting to the Z- bar frame bracket bolts anyway. The headers are easy compaired to that...
