Just got a smokin deal on a 1967 c code coupe, engine runs fine but seller says it is the original motor so I want to freshen it up... or replace with another 289 or 302 with a little bump in power. Opinions, rebuild or replace. Not looking for high performance just a little hotter than stock 289. Picking it up Tuesday will post picks then

No making any major changes until winter just planning ahead. Only change being made now is wheels and tires.......stay 14" or go to 15" and what size tires...thinking about going to 15x7 and 215/60R15.....any suggestions!!

Yes! IMO, the ideal aftermarket size for the early cars, 15 x 7 with 215/60/15. If you stay with 14" wheels, I like the 70 series tires.
