This is a complicated one. A week ago my brake lights, tail lights and blinkers all worked. A couple of days ago i installed the shelby LED conversion kit...now my tail lights and passenger brake light work. Ive lost power to the driver side brake/blinker completely. I installed a new brake switch, hd flasher, and tested the LED board by connecting a jumper cable from the passenger side and it works, (still no blinker though). disconnected the led boards. installed new sockets and tried just bulbs...same issues as listed above. We tested the driver side brake wire and theres no power to it.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I agree with 02Lightning re the turn signal switch... I just replaced mine 3 weeks ago on a 69 Mach 1 and all problems solved. That being said, what concerns me about your problem is the fact that you just changed to an LED set-up which means there's a lot of new variables in play. You may have to back up and start over to test each function in order to locate the problem.

It may still be the blinker switch. Here's why: That steering column is a tight space; if you installed it and something got pulled, pinched or broken, age of the replacement piece doesn't matter. When I did mine, I had to think it through and leave some breathing room for the wires to flex due to the tilt wheel. The switch I replaced was new too, but the PO didn't do a good install and it failed in short order.
