I bought the Scott Drake one from Summit and it has actually fit fairly well. Does need some slight adjustment around the door but that could also be the door I'm not really sure.

 

Be advised that neither Drake nor Dynacorn are manufacturers, and therefore there's a chance that both parties are buying the fenders from the same factory/tooling. I've found Golden Legion fenders (that's a manufacturer) have the best 65-66 fenders, everything on balance.

 

NPD sells an original Ford tooling fender and a "good" repo fender for about 1/2 the price as the original tooling.

Your best bet is to source a used fender locally and avoid shipping costs.

Im considering replacing the fenders on my 67 with repops and driving down to NPD to pick them up. I want to see what I'm buying before UPS beats the hell out of them in shipping.

 

Unfortunately, fenders are shipped truck freight. You are probably a little closer to the Fla warehouse than I am which is good, the shorter the distance the less chance they get beat up. Mine came through great, not a scratch or ding anywhere. What I did was also order some smaller items that could be thrown in the box along with the fender, to sort of ease the shipping cost a little.
BTW, I bought the 'good repo'. It seemed to fit fine.

I ordered a “Dynacorn” fastback trunk lid from CJ, and it was a Golden Legion box with a dynacorn sticker on it. It was simply in a box with no other padding. It was thin and dented all over. I ordered another, and it was dented too. The fit was terrible.

 

So when you want to order the Golden Legion fender rom NPD how do you know which one it is? I only saw the Ford tooling one which isn't available and the improved repo. I'm assuming the improved repo is the American Legion?
