And its Indian Fire. ;) Lose the Boss stripes and you are good to go. Nice car. Register it on the CJ site: http://www.428cobrajet.org/

Sweet! Nice buy!
Can't decide about those stripes, though...

Here's some specific's on the car....originally a 428 SCJ 4-spd car, unfortunately it now has a 302/C4, original rear still in car (v-code), correct 428 shaker (and I laughed at him when he paid $800 for it at Columbus a few years ago!) fold-down rear seat, tach dash, console, A/C. All original sheetmetal, rear quarter lips are rolled (drag racing in it's past?), no rust anywhere. Interior is perfect except for one small split in drivers door panel. Now if someone would just sell me a 428 CJ engine cheap, I would be in business!!

The A/C part confuses me; didn't think you could get A/C on a 4-speed CJ car?

And don't hold your breath on a "cheap" CJ motor, though you could put together a "cheaper" motor by using a later (incorrect date) service block. I think the best deal on a 428 engine is the irrigation pump motors the guys out in KS are selling. CJ style service block, CJ crank, rods and pistons, etc.

Let the adventure begin! :)
