I got almost all of the electrical gremlins solved, but my emergency flashers don't work.. They just stay on and don't flash but the actual flasher gets hot to the touch. Please help !

I assume you checked the flasher or replaced it? At least you got yours warm and the lights are on. Mine dead in the steering column switch.Darn gremlins do it all the time. They snicker at you too. *G*

Thanks for the ideas guys. The turn signals work fine and I have replaced the flasher with a heavy duty unit with no luck. Are the flashers on the same circut as the turn signals ? I'll try another flasher tonight.
On the '66 the flasher units of the turn-signal and the emergency signal are the same if I'm remembering correctly.
The fact that the flasher gets hot is an indication that it's stuck. To test if the unit really is stuck, swap it with the turn signal flasher and see what happens.
