If and only if, I was crazy enough to consider keeping Yellow Tail long enough to warrant replacing the two front floor panels, per the pics in the below link, would the new ones go up the toe board far enough to cover these holes? On my '66, I think the floors went up about 2" into the toe board area. One on mine was a good fit, the other I had more work to do on the toe board.

Now Craig, you need some help to admit that you have a problem. You have become attached to this new love of your life and will not admit it. Just take a deep breath and say "Yes, it looks like Yellow Tail has found a new home". Now, another deep breath and tell it to the wife, then duck. lol

I would probably just fab a lil piece for that spot. I wished my car only had a hole geesh im replacing complete firewall and full floor pans !....Marc

You might get it covered. My full floors went up 2 or 3 inches.

If not, you could make a patch from sheet metal.

I think the floors would go up high enough as long as the metal is solid enough to weld to. Otherwise you could get the toe boards aswell.
