Hey guys,

The fan quit working a few weeks ago, so the stangs Been out of commission. Window gets fogged and can’t see jack. The fan has power, but no ground. When I connect my probe (provides power/ground), the fan turns on no problem. I checked each prong of the resistor, but couldn’t find ground. How do I check the switch? I want to verify it’s not a broken wire between the switch and the resistor. I should find ground on 1 of the wires at the switch correct? Id expect it to read as an open circuit.

This blog and the referenced wiring diagrams in it helped me with my 66 that has a 3 speed heater system.

When I added in-dash factory style AC to my non-AC 1967 it confused the heck out of me to find that the power and ground were reversed to the heater motor. I may be mistaken, but as I recall the resistor was on the ground side for no AC and positive side with AC. It helped that the AC wiring harness was a completely separate add-on.
