I am replacing my stock block and aftermarket prop valve with this combination doodad. Pretty slick little bugger. Matches up to stock lines pretty well. Only have to rebend the line going to the rear (bottom mount on stock block, side mount on this one). Anyway...
See that brake light switch there on top? Yeah.. under that is a small hole that allows brake pressure to trigger the light. As I dont need the switch and removing it makes installation of the inlet lines much easier, I am removing it. I have a plug for it. It originally sealed with teflon tape, I will do the same. Only one problem... can you name it?
Yep... I have no idea how to bleed the air that will be trapped under that plug. Do I need to? I gotta think I do... that would be a pretty ugly air bubble if I didnt.
Any ideas? I am thinking about leaving the plug loose and having the wife pump the pedal... when I get brake fluid seeping up, I seal it down. Not sure that method will get all the air out though.
