Jeremy -
THANKS for all your help today at the car show. All judging and awards were done ON TIME. 313 entries, and I think 80 were in the 67-73 class that Jeremy judged!!!

I owe you a cold one, big guy!!! :yoho:

No need for a thanks. I like doing it. Though it would have been a bit easier without a tired 3-1/2 year old slowing me down

But I'm not too proud to take you up on the cold one ;)

So, was everyone shocked with the VW ? :loco: LOL

I didn't get to see Skip. Total tunnel vision - just completely focused on getting show stuff done. One more year, and I'm "retired"!!! :content:

I think people were pleased with the VW choice, as well as the red street rod that won Best of Show. The VW owner was very surprised. That car WAS really nice!!! I think the trophy was bigger than the car!

You probably got to see a lot of really nice 67-73 cars. Pick up any good ideas for yours???

I've heard that they raised $13,000+ yesterday! :jump:

The wife and I just came to look. We did not bring the car. Had too many things to get done around the house after being in Canada for ten days.

Figured Bob was busy so we did not try to find him.

Had I known Jeremy was judging my class, I would have brought mine and bribed the judge.

The wife liked the color of VW. If it sparkles, she is attracted to it.

Sorry I couldn't make it, Deb had to get one last ski run in before I put the boat away.......d@mn, that water has gotten cold!

Sounds like it was a good show and you sure had decent weather. Anybody take pics?

I heard that someone took over 200 pictures - working on getting them on CD so I can add to the website...

For now, I do have a couple of videos linked on the front page of the show website - about 10 minutes each...

I'm sorry I missed it! Family and work have kept me running lately.
