I thought it would be cool if I could find my fathers old Mustang. My father, who passed away in 2008, had a 67 Coupe with a 390 and a Hurst shifter. It was a dark green I believe. He bought it used in Central NY where he is from and sold it in 1972 or 73 in Rhode Island when he was in the Navy. He sold it because my mom couldn't drive standard. I know it's a big "IF", if the car is still on the road, let alone finding someone who might know the history on their car and having this ring a bell, but I'm trying anyways. I don't know the VIN or plate numbers but I'm still doing some research. Thought I'd throw it out there and see if I hit the "mega millions". My dads name was Craig Kemp. I wish I thought to do this while he was still alive, it would have been a little easier to get some info. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I am trying to find my friends mom's car too. 64 mustang. AND my father in laws 69 Vette. Good luck! DMV in our state will not give out the info (if they even still have it) so finding it, is a stretch. I have the license plate number but that does me no good.

You might try if you can find info on your dads car, from his records. Maybe the insurance company? Without a VIN I don't know how you would find it...

There is also a FE/390 site, you may want to dig around.
