hello, Did you try using a spacer behind the rims?

 

I did - 1/4 inch - the welds in the wheel still hit the rear calipers - barely - I could have ground the calipers a bit...decided to go with a 16 inch rim instead - now there is plenty of clearance. Thanks.

15s are gone.
Here's what is left:
4 16x7 with 225 50 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS
2 16x8 with 245 50 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS

All new, all mounted and balanced, never driven on.
