Unusual place to find a book. Check out the print date of the book to get an idea of the longest it was tucked away in there. Maybe assembly line worker reading on break lost it in there?

what carpet are you putting in it? i used a mass backing one and i dont like it. too plumpy.

 

I tossed this piece in just to have a quick look. I'm using ACC Mass Back. It will require some trimming but it appears to fit well.

 

im more impressed the original carpet was still in there

when i pulled my rear seat back in the early 90s i found a pair of pantyhose. according to my wife it was high grade material and not the cheapie CVS ones.
also round a roach clip and beer tabs

Good thing you found that & got it gone ,back in that time frame it could have been a major problem .
You know like You got a lot of splaning to do here .

 

Quick tip on carpet trimming…..do not use the guide lines on the reverse to trim for the shifter, measure it yourself. Mine was too wide by an inch!

 

Question about your carpet: Does the part that hoes over the transmission hump come as a separate piece or is whole front carpet one piece? And which one did you get?

 

1 for the front - 1 for the back - just like the original. They overlap under the seats.

 

Did someone mention out with the old carpet? ACC Mass-backed. About 5 years ago, before the C4 removal and the toploader install.
