What car/year do you have?
On most of these Mustangs, you can just install a clutch peddle on your existing bracket leaving the brake peddle on. Then just cut your existing brake peddle down so it fits a new smaller brake peddle pad.
A cable clutch kit from moderndriveline is an easy way to go (unless you have long tube headers).
1968 Coupe, Factory Power Brakes, Hooker Super Comp Long Tubes. Because of the long tubes, I'm planning on going hydraulic. This is the pedal I pickled up on ebay, does it look right?

It was a kit on ebay, billed as:

67 68 MUSTANG T5 Clutch Pedal Kit T45 T56 | eBay

In case that doesn't work, the text is:

67/68 Mustang 289/302 T5 clutch pedal kit. This kit works with stock cable and bellhousing 83/94. The firewall bracket is adjustable to set clutch cable.

No need to remove the pedal support, parking brake or air duct to install. The pedal axle is threaded and the pedal is locked with a jam nut. Pedal stop is welded in place factory one is not needed. Automatic to T5 conversion you can use your existing brake pedal simply by cutting the metal pad down to fit new pedal pad.

Did I read it correctly that the T5 is a NWC? I think your motor will kill a NON World Class T5.

I have a T5 and 3.55 trak loc rear and love it. There was a HUGE performance increase when I went from the 3.00 to the 3.55. The seat of the pants feel was there was an additional 75HP.

I documented the change out, DS, hydraulic clutch and research on my website if your interested.

You did read that correctly. I'm thinking about just running the NWC t5 till it explodes, then getting a t5z
