I don't like to say bad things about TCI suspension for the Mustang BUT I am constantly encountering people in different forums that are having problems with their kit for the mustang (mostly front but also Rear suspension Exhaust H & X pipe clearance)

Looks like Rod & Custom's kit is what fits nice and low in the engine bay and you could even use the stock headers that comes with the Coyote.

Here is the link.

Coyote 1967 Mustang Install

I have the TCI front (and rear) suspension, although the car is not yet running. My kit was installed by Hollywood Hot Rods in Burbank, CA. The shop informed me that the TCI kit was one of the easier kits they have installed. They were impressed with the instructions and the fact that nothing had to be altered. Again, I have not yet driven the car, but I was impressed with TCI's customer service when I ordered the kit, and the shop thought it was high qualilty (and they install similar kits in other cars, too).

Yes but are you using the Coyote 5.0 with a T56 Magnum transmission combo AND are you installing the engine as far back to the firewall as possible ?

Were you able to use an X pipe with the Rear Torque Arm suspension ?

TCI says you can do an H pipe but not with the engine mounted as far back to the firewall as possible and definitely not with a T56 Magnum transmission.

So what rear suspension would work with the T56 pushed back?

I don't have anything wild, but I freakin love my torque arm! I'm wondering what problems (with the rear suspension) you are seeing on the net?

The 4 link set up will work with the T56 pushed back with H or X pipe or the Roadster Shop IRS will work too.
I think a Torque Arm set up can be made to work too if it is re designed with the X pipe in mind.

No other problems with the TCI Rear Torque Arm except for the H & X pipe issue using a T56 that is set back.

Once the shock towers are removed, there is no twisting or torque on these areas. MII suspension puts all torque down low. No need for export braces or Monte Carlo bars. Call Rod & Custom. they can enplane how this all works out.
